Trip to VAGERI

 Trekk To Vagheri Hills.
Goa is a land of pristine beauty ranging from lush green western ghats till lowlying sandy beaches on its coastline. The state of Goa is bounded by one of the biodiversity hotspots of the wolrd on the eastern borders. The Western Ghats nurture a wide variety of flora and fauna  here.
The western ghats provide a mesmerizing amd thrilling experiences for the trekkers and adventurers all over the wolrd.
I also had visited this lush green forested hills with my friends one sunday.Vageri is one of the highest hill in the western ghats and 30th in the state in Goa. It has a height of 750 meters. We can venture Vageri via Keri or Zarme village. It has got its name from the word 'Wagh' there is the existence of tigers in these region. Few years ago, 'Dhangers' resided here as some evidence suggest.
We finally started to go down the hill by evening and I will suggest everybody to go on sundays. I hope this blog was an informative one and you like it.
Vageri also serves us with medicinal plants and serves as residence to the wild animals, birds, insects. We then had our lunch. After lunch we walked for 15 minutes and turn right where we saw Anjuna Dam. It was one of the most facinating view I ever seen. Also we saw a spring nearby. After walking a bit we reached a place where we saw many sculptures made up of stones with religious significance. We saw a number of species of butterflies there.

This was a great experience and is also a good attentive for physical exercise and stree releaves. One should go for trackkingat least once a monthWe finally started to go down the hill by evening and I will suggest everybody to go on sundays. I hope this blog was an informative one and you like it.
